PERRY, Fla. (PPD)-- The Taylor County Sheriffs Office and the Perry Police Department has confirmed that two inmates who escaped from the county jail, have been found and are back in custody. 50-year-old David Black and 25-year-old Daniel Mitchell escaped from the Taylor Work Camp around 4:15 p.m. Wednesday.
The Taylor County Sheriff's Office and the Perry Police Department agreed on a mutual aid search and were able to find the inmates with the use of K-9 units. The inmates were in the deep woods, south of the Taylor Corrections Facility.
Both men were in prison for non-violent crimes.
