Governor Rick Scott is proposing a 15-day sales tax holiday leading up to hurricane season. The tax holiday will be similar to the state's back-to-school sales tax holiday.
Hurricane survival supplies will be tax free 15.
The holiday still needs to be approved by Florida lawmakers before it is official.
