TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Families along side their four legged friends took part in Leon County Humane Society's 2nd annual Walk & Wag dog walk this weekend.
The annual fundraiser brings awareness to the cruelty and neglect facing many animals every day. Pet owners and their furry friends dressed up in super hero costumes and enjoyed a walk, all while raising money.
Animals rescued by LCHS who have beaten the odds and have gone on to become ambassadors for the organization were also showcased at the event. All funds raised from Walk & Wag will go towards the veterinary care of Leon County Human Society animals.
