Last month, the Army Air Force Exchange Service announced that honorably discharged veterans will be able to shop online at the Exchange. The benefit starts on November 11th, 2017.

“AAFES, along with its sister exchanges, is ensuring America’s veterans are honored for their service and recognized as Soldiers, Airmen, Marines and Sailors for life,” said AAFES CEO David Shull. “We look forward to welcoming our veterans home this Veterans Day and every day thereafter.”

The benefit is open to all those who were honorably discharged, regardless of disability. To make sure you can shop online, contact either your local veterans service agency or the Defense Manpower Data Center here. You can also contact AAFES at this link or by calling (800) 527-2345.

More details as to exact shopping process for honorably discharged veterans are expected soon. The benefit is only for online shopping, and will not allow access to military installations or be open to those veterans' dependents.
