TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - After months of a fiery standoff between President Trump and Kim Jong-un, Trump has accepted an offer to meet, making him the first president to sit face to face with a North Korean leader to talk peace.
The fateful meeting could happen as soon as may according to a South Korean delegation.
The U.S. and South Korea will still conduct their military exercises despite the invitation to start talks. The developments are a major shift in tone from President Trump who has in the past vowed radical action.
