MIDWAY, FL(WTXL)-- A hot line has been set up for the friends and family of the victims in the mass Orlando shooting.
The shooting in which 50 people died and 53 were injured happened at the Purge Nightclub in Orlando around 2 o'clock Sunday morning. The incident is being called an Act of Terrorism and Hate.
Omar Mateen has been identified as the shooter and officials have confirmed that he declared allegiance to ISIS prior to the shooting.
In a statement from Florida Department of Law Enforcement a number was released for the friends and family of those killed or injured in the shooting to call and get more information. The hotline number is 407-246-4357.
