TALLAHASSEE Fla. (WTXL) -- Local World War II and Korean War veterans met at the National Guard Armory as part of Honor Flight Tallahassee's reunion event on Wednesday Dec. 9th.
Honor Flight Tallahassee is an organization that helps military veterans travel to Washington DC to see the memorials dedicated to their honor and service, all at no cost.
Wednesday night local veterans who had gone on trips with the organization to help make the visits to DC happen, celebrated and remembered their experience.
Their next trip to DC will be in April of next year.
