Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL)-- When it comes to interior decorating, many may have an idea for how they want their place to look. But sometimes, it's hard to make those visions come to life in smaller spaces.
WTXL ABC 27's Jade Bulecza sat down with local interior designer, Tracy Williams, to learn more about decorating in small spaces.
Tips for decorating small spaces:
- Measure and draw out floor plan
- Figure out your style
- Shop with your floorplans, tape measure, pencil, and eraser
- Pick paint colors after choosing upholstery and drapery
- Accessorize, then "edit, edit, edit;" with a small space, you usually have too much stuff and not enough room.
