FRANKLIN COUNTY, Fla. (WTXL) - A man was arrested after a home burglary turned into a high speed pursuit in Franklin County Thursday night.

Casey Harvell was arrested Thursday by the Franklin County Sheriff's Office.

FCSO says a burglary took place in Franklin County off Alligator Drive that led to a high speed chase, which crossed county lines into Carabelle.

FCSO stated Harvell broke into someone's home, when a neighbor called police.

According to FCSO, a deputy was there in under a minute and a high speed chase ensued into Carrabelle, where Harvell was arrested.

After Harvell was arrested, deputies searched his car, finding other stolen items inside.

FCSO believes Harvell burglarized other homes as well on Alligator Drive.

FCSO says he also has a warrant for arrest in Leon County.
