TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Residents will have a chance to pick up some one-of-a-kind art works at the 52nd Annual LeMoyne Center for Visual Arts Holiday Show and Sale.
The show, taking place at the LeMoyne Center for Visual Arts in Tallahassee, kicks off Thanksgiving night for members, but will be open to the public seven days a week with extended hours beginning Friday.
Organizers said the show will feature 90 artists, with works priced for every gift buyer and collector.
The kinds of work that will be shown include, artisan crafted pottery, stained and kiln fired glass, oils and acrylic paintings, mosaic works, fiber, fabricated and turned wood, metal and beaded jewelry, and function and fancy art.
The center will also be having special guest appearances throughout the month of December.
Organizers said that The Hot Tamales are playing on Dec. 9. Santa Claus and Miss Tallahassee are also expected to make a visit to the center on Dec. 17.
The 52nd Annual LeMoyne Center for Visual Arts Holiday Show and Sale will continue from Thanksgiving to Dec. 31.
Admission is $3 for individuals, $7 for families, and free to members.
