MARIANNA, Fla. (WTXL) - A school in Jackson County goes on lock down after receiving threats from an angry parent.
According to the Jackson County Sheriff's Office, deputies responded to Hope School in Marianna at 10 a.m. Friday. When they arrived, the parent, identified as 51-year-old Malisa Dale Hager, was allegedly yelling profanities at faculty, saying her husband would return with a machine gun to shoot school staff.
Troopers say she was taken into custody without incident and charged with disruption of an educational institution.
The school was taken off lock down after 12:30. Hager now awaits her first court appearance.
