(WWSB) — The big consumer electronics chain, hhgregg, Inc. filed for bankruptcy in March.
The Indianapolis company founded the store in 1955. They plan to close all 220 stores by the end of next month.
As of May 2016, the retailer had about 5,000 employees in 19 states, who will all lose their jobs.
hhgregg will liquidate its assets because no buyer was found by Friday, their deadline.
