TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) -- The Patriot Guard Riders and Vet Events Tally are coming together in support of fallen Leon County Sheriff's Deputy Chris Smith.
The groups are asking the community to join them in creating a flag line this morning, before funeral services for Smith. They're lining the southbound side of Thomasville Road, south of the Bradfordville Baptist Church, where the funeral is set to begin at noon.
Anyone who wants to take part is asked to meet in the Target parking lot on Thomasville Road at Bradfordville Road at 11:30 a.m. on Tuesday.
If you have a flag, feel free to bring it, but several hundred flags will be available at the site.
All are invited.
