TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)- Even though Wednesday marks the end of "Heart Health Month", it's never too late to get serious about your heart health.
There's an entire month dedicated to it and it is a crucial member of your body.
In fact, studies show that in the United States, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women.
WTXL's Jada Williams decided to get a stress test to see how her heart was doing.
The test was simple. Jada was hooked up to an EKG, then she got on the treadmill. As the treadmill speed increased, so did her heart rate. And by the end of her test there was good news for Jada.
Doctor Gredler warns that a good stress test result is not enough to champion a healthy heart, saying regular check ups and healthy living is still important.
Your doctor may still want to do other tests as well.
