TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL)--Tallahassee's Community Advisory Council is holding its second meeting to select members for an advisory board, formed to discuss community concerns about health in Frenchtown and Southside Tallahassee.
So far, six representatives have been selected for the board.
“The residents who participated in the first meeting really had their fingers on the pulse of what was going on in the community!’” said Dr. Cynthia Seaborn, Health Committee Chair, Tallahassee Branch of the NAACP. “They did an outstanding job of selecting members to represent their neighbors in the upcoming year and the process was very smooth.”
They plan to complete the roster at this weekend's meeting.
It will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday at Roberts and Stevens Clinic on Old Bainbridge Road.
Meals will be served to those in attendance.
