TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Local musicians and the community are coming together to raise money for a boy with a rare brain disease.
At a benefit Sunday night, artists sang played and played instruments at the Junction in downtown Tallahassee.
The goal is to raise money for 17-month-old Mason Hoffman Jr., who has been diagnosed with a deadly brain disorder known as ALD.
The rare genetic disease only affects 1 in 18,000 people.
The Hoffman family says the support they have seen in Tallahassee has been amazing.
