Head of Dream Defenders Arrested in Protest

MIAMI, Fla. (WTXL) -- Protest continue to erupt in response to the grand jury decision in Ferguson.

Overnight in Miami, the executive director of the Dream Defenders, and a FAMU alum, was arrested during a protest.

Phillip Agnew was rallying with 100 people in front of the Miami Dade criminal courthouse.

Reports say Agnew, along with Jeremy Shaw, crossed police tape and were arrested.

Both are being charged with "failure to obey lawful order."

Agnew was recently named to the Ebony Magazine's "Power 100" list.
