HAVANA, Fla. (WTXL) - A Havana man pleaded not guilty today to first degree murder charges in the death of a 22 year-old woman.
Troumaine Harris is charged with killing Lotoya Maine after her burnt remains were found next to her burnt car north of Havana on September 10, 2013.
She was reported missing by her family earlier that day.
Her death was ruled a homicide.
Harris denied involvement but was found with burns on his face and hands. Investigators said DNA evidence linked him to the crime.
Harris will return to court June 3, 2014.
