TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - A Havana man who is a convicted felon was arrested after police found him with a stolen handgun.

Lorenza Griffin, 48, was arrested Sunday when Tallahassee Police Department officers arrived in the 2800 block of Southwood Drive.

Officers determined that the Ruger .380 handgun Griffin possessed was reported stolen in 2014.

Griffin faces charges of grand theft of a firearm and possession of a weapon or ammo by a convicted Florida felon.

Griffin remained in the Leon County Detention Center on a $20,000 bond on Tuesday.
