HAHIRA, Ga (WTXL) - The city of Hahira is getting ready for students to re-enter the classroom with a Back to School Safety Bash.
The event, which takes place on Friday, August 7, from 5:30pm - 10:00pm, features a variety of activities for students and parents including bounce houses, a DJ, and safety kits for families to bring home.
Families participating can also learn about safety tips for bullying and kids on the internet.
This initiative is joined with the National Night Out program and will feature a glow run in honor of the national crime prevention program.
