TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - The holiday season is all about giving and that's what a local business is focusing on.
The H&R Block off of Monroe Street held their Annual Coat Drive on Friday to collect jackets for those in need.
The jackets collected today will benefit Keller's Closet, an organization that provides school uniforms, jackets, school supplies and more to students.
One employee expressed the importance of giving back to others this time of year, especially with people still recovering from Hurricane Michael.
"Have the spirit of giving, and think about people who are in need. This is a crucial time because of the hurricane that came through our region and I know there are people who are really in need," said H&R Block Office Manager, Kay Sutton.
In the next couple of weeks, the coats donated at H&R Block will be distributed to different schools in the area.
