NORCROSS, Ga. (AP) - Police say a man died about a week after he was shot at a Gwinnett County sports bar.
Police Cpl. Deon Washington said in a news release Monday that 25-year-old Ezequiel Cruz Ventura died Saturday.
Washington says Ventura had a gunshot wound to the chest when he was dropped off at Gwinnett Medical Center around 10 p.m. on Dec. 28 by an unknown man. Detectives have learned that Ventura was shot between 9 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. at Bukanas Sports Bar in Norcross.
Police are asking anyone who might have information about the shooting to get in touch with them.
