(WTXL) - Yesterday's snow storm was one for the books in south Georgia.
Lowndes County saw record numbers in terms of accidents that law enforcement responded to.
The county as a whole responded to 105 vehicle accidents between 5 a.m. and 10 p.m., according to Georgia State Patrol.
Luckily, there were no fatalities.
Corporal Chris Kelch says GSP post 31 directly responded to at least 20 of those calls.
The others were divvied up between the Lowndes County Sheriff's Office, Valdosta Police Department and Emergency Management Teams.
Corporal Kelch says he's never seen a number of accidents so great in Lowndes County.
GSP encourages people to continue taking their time on the roads, as the freezing temperatures could still pose a threat in days to come.
