TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) Political groups want some of Florida's congressional maps thrown out, after they were deemed unconstitutional.

Attorneys filed a motion on Monday, asking Judge Terry Lewis to hold a hearing on how to deal with the maps he recently ruled were illegal.  The groups are asking that the maps not be used in the upcoming November election.

Lewis' ruling did not specify who should redraw the maps he deemed illegal, or when they should be redrawn.  The Florida Legislature has yet to indicate whether it will file an appeal.
