TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - With the local business scene in Tallahassee quickly growing, some groups in Tallahassee are making sure that women are leading the wave in new businesses.

Groups are coming together to workshop their plan of action for the new year to not only bring more female entrepeneurs to Tallahassee, but support and help build on the existing ones.
The intitave began last year with a speaker series called Working Women Wednesday's, where every Wednesday, a local businesswoman talked to others about their venture.
But this Wednesday, the team is taking that time to reflect on how to do more for women this year.
