TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL)--FSU students have come out in numbers to protest the consideration of Senator John Thrasher for president, but one new group at the university has a different opinion of the situation.
A "Support for John Thrasher" web site has been created to support his bid for the university's presidency.
The page claims that as an alumnus of the school, Thrasher will remember what it's like to be a student and will understand the the culture of the school better than other candidates.
The group also says Thrasher's dedication to the university through his time as a chairman on the board of trustees qualifies him for the position.
