GRETNA, Fla. (WTXL) - After serving as a Gadsden County Sheriff's deputy for more than two decades, Brian Alexander, is giving us an update on the state of the city.

Chief Alexander says the transition has been a positive change.

He says he's been working with local business, church, and law enforcement leaders to get a feel for the community. Recently, he met with about seventy residents to hear their concerns in the local and national spotlight.

Chief Alexander hopes his "Batman" status becomes a positive image for the city in the 21st century.
