CORDELE, GA (WALB) - Police have charged a South Georgia man after police say they found more than a dozen malnourished dogs.
The Cordele Police Department posted photos of three dogs out of 16 found behind a dilapidated home in Cordele.
Police said they charged Antonio Dawson with animal cruelty, dog fighting and rabies violations.
CPD ended its post saying, "Cordele Police will continue to bring charges for this type of mistreatment."
