TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Our coverage continues in the trial of accused quadruple murder suspect Henry Segura.
Friday, wraps up week one with a full day of testimony.
WTXL now knows that Brandi Peters was shot multiple times, and it's very likely that she put up a fight when she was attacked.
Henry Segura once again avoided looking at the very graphic photos from the autopsies.
We heard from the medical examiner, who said it's possible Peters was shot seven or eight times some at close range.
Four bullets were found in her body in her head, ear, chest and abdomen.
Her blood-stained clothes were taken out of sealed bags and shown to the jury.
Evidence inside her house shows there were signs of a struggle, a broken fake nail, a fake plant that fell over and blood splattered all over the foyer.
We've also learned two vehicles were searched and processed days after the murders.
In them, investigators found several pairs of gloves, child support paperwork and a bank receipt showing a $1,400 withdrawal two days before police discovered the bodies.
We know that family and friends of Henry Segura and Brandi Peters have been at trial. How have they reacted with all this?
For the most part, they've been quiet, but Friday they sat right behind me as the autopsy photos were being shown.
You could hear them gasping and quietly chatting about what they were seeing.
More to come next week, and we'll be here to give you the latest.
