VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - The Grandmother accused of leaving her two year-old grandchild in the car while she was inside a Valdosta Walmart has been arrested.

On Tuesday, Police received calls to 911 saying a child had been left in a car in the Walmart parking lot. The caller had taken the child from the car and brought them into the store because of the extreme heat.
When officers arrived, they say the boy was soaked in sweat but was alert. Reaves was found in the store and told officer she left him there because he was asleep. Police say there was a second child in the store with Reaves.
