FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. (WTXL) - A grand jury is likely to begin considering formal charges next week against the man accused of killing 17 people at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School on Valentine's Day.
The suspect, 19-year-old Nikolas Cruz, is in jail, charged with 17 counts of first-degree murder.
