LOWNDES CO., GA (WTXL) - The graduation for several Afghan students studying at Moody Air Force Base is Friday. These graduates are the peers of the two Afghan students that went missing from the base earlier this month.
Nine trainees will participate in the graduation, receiving a plaque and a certificate.
Officials are now confirming that the two missing students are Mirwais Kohistani and Shirzad Rohulla.
The Department of Homeland Security says the men's visas were officially revoked last Friday and that even though they cannot give specifics on the ongoing investigation, they say they are following a variety of electronic and physical leads.
The department adds they there is no information that Kohistani or Rohulla are a potential threat.
