TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Governor Rick Scott orders flags to be flown at half-staff at the state capitol, following the death of two military members at Eglin Air Force Base.

On Monday, two special tactics airmen, Timothy Officer, Jr. and Marty Bettelyoun were killed during military freefall training at the base in Okaloosa County.

In a statement, the governor said, "Ann and I join all Floridians and Americans as we pray for the families of these two airmen and all of those who serve in our nation’s military."

Flags at the capitol will be at half staff from sunrise until sunset Friday.
