TALLAHASSEE Fla. (WTXL)-- Governor Rick Scott has appointed Tom Delacensarie as the new secretary of the Florida Lotto.
Delacensarie was made the interim secretary back in August.
He took over after then-secretary Cynthia O'Connell abruptly resigned amid questions about her work habits and her use of corporate credit cards.
Delacenserie has worked for the Florida Lottery since 2000 when he began working as a district manager in Fort Myers. He had spent the last two years as deputy secretary for sales and marketing.
