Tallahassee, Fla. (WTXL) - Next week, Governor Rick Scott will host the 2017 Jobs Summit in Orlando.
The goal, according to Governor Scott, is to "connect business, education, economic development and community leaders to discuss the best ways to bring more jobs to our state."
"A job," Scott continued, "is the most important thing to a family, and we must fight to make sure our children and grandchildren have every opportunity to succeed in the Sunshine State."
Speakers at the event will include Travis Brown, author of How Money Walks, Stan Connally, President and CEO of Gulf Power Company, and Eric Silagy, President and CEO of Florida Power and Light.
The two day summit will take place at the Caribe Royale in Orlando on Thursday and Friday of next week, February 2nd and 3rd.
