TALLAHASSEE, FL (WTXL) - Florida Governor Rick Scott is kicking off his inauguration with a series of events to help the state of Florida.
All this week there will be barbecues hosted by businesses, as part of a "Jobs Jamboree."
The first event started Monday near the Miami International Airport. Others will be in Jacksonville, Lake Mary, Naples, Pensacola, and Tampa.
Scott will be sworn in on January 6th.
Other inauguration events include an inaugural prayer breakfast and a small reception at the Governor's Mansion.
