TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Governor Ron DeSantis talked about important issues earlier in Tallahassee on Tuesday.
The governor touched on several topics at a press conference downtown, everything from the blue green algae concern to on-going Hurricane Michael recovery efforts and the possibility of arming teachers.
DeSantis also discussed medical marijuana saying he wasn't sure if the verdict is constitutional but wants to look into it before making a judgment.
"I thought that uh, restricting and not allowing anyone who is prescribed by a doctor to smoke it, to me I thought that ran afoul of the amendment and I think that needs to be corrected," said DeSantis.
DeSantis said he's open to ideas but he wants to correct the bill with proper regulation.
