VALDOSTA, Ga. (WTXL) - We're now hearing from the Good Samaritans who helped push a car off train tracks in Valdosta.
Valdosta Police say a car broke down on the tracks on South Fry Street on Thursday.
A man and his family stopped to help and were able to get the car out of the way.
But once the Good Samaritans got back in their own car, the front of their vehicle was clipped by the passing train.
Two victims were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
Officials say if your car breaks down on railroad tracks, the best thing to do is to clear the area and call 911.
