TALLAHASSEE, FL. (WTXL) - Whether you're a beginner or an expert, Golfing is all about skill, precision, practice and a little luck.
When you're heading out on the golf coarse it helps to know just how far you'll be hitting. According to J.P. Raymer IV With Edwin Watts, he has the golf gadget every golfer needs.
Raymer says, "This is the Bushnell Tour X Laser Range-Finder. We have a few different models we carry, this is the latest and greatest by Bushnell. One of the problems with range-finders before if you wanted to use it in a tournament you couldn't have slope as an option."
The Slope option will give you elevation changes of a course. It's illegal in tournament play but the Bushnell Tour X has exchange technology which allows you the option for slope play or non-slope play. Remember the old days of trying to find a sprinkler head or some sort of marker to determine distance to the green? For the average golfer the Bushnell range-finder eliminates the guessing game for an accurate reading.
Raymer says, "This gets you exactly to the pin. You can also measure exactly to the bunker or to a front of a body of water. So you can know there is a 150 yards to the front of the water and 200 to the back, you know you need to hit it at least 210 to carry the water."
The Bushnell Tour X is easy to use. You simply look into the viewfinder, press a button and the readings appear on the scope. Clearly marked is the elevation and distance readings on the object you're looking at.
The Bushnell Tour X is just another golf gadget to help you go for the green.
