TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (WTXL) - Residents got the chance to speak those seeking federal, state, county, and city offices.
Candidates shared their platforms at the 'Know Your Candidates Forum' in Tallahassee on Satuday. The political forum was held at Saint Phillip AME Church from 10am to 2pm.
The event was open to the public and community members were able to ask questions to candidates. There were about a dozen candidates at the forum. Some of the main issues that candidates touched upon included food desserts in Tallahassee, standardized testing, as well as election sites.
The event was put on as apart of the Social Action Ministry at Saint Phillip AME Church.
