(WTXL) - Officers in Georgia are cracking down on the new hands free driving law.
It's been a week since that law went into effect.
The numbers are now in on how this law is affecting people on the road.
Georgia State Patrol says they've issued 179 tickets and 795 warnings to drivers accross the state in the last seven days.
On the first day the law went into effect, officers wrote 34 tickets and 98 warnings.
GSP is reminding drivers if you're caught with your phone, you will get pulled over.
