VALDOSTA, Ga. --Valdosta City Schools will host a series of public input meetings on the redistricting the elementary school zones. Redistricting is necessary as attendance zones have grown disproportionately to the capacity of each school in the system.
The system will host four public input meetings.
- Tuesday, February 11 at 7:00 pm in the Sallas Mahone Elementary School Gymnasium
- Tuesday, February 18 at 7:00 pm in the J.L. Lomax Elementary School Gymnasium
The next two meetings will then be an opportunity for the Board to show the proposed zoning maps that are created based on feedback and suggestions that are gathered from the two public input meetings.
- Thursday, March 13 at 7:00 pm in the S.L. Mason Elementary School Gymnasium
- Tuesday, March 18 at 7:00 pm in the W.G. Nunn Elementary School Gymnasium
