ATLANTA (AP) - Police have arrested three men accused of leading authorities on a car chase from Fayetteville to the Atlanta area.
Fayetteville Police Detective Mike Whitlow tells WSB-TV officers were following the suspects of a carjacking Thursday afternoon before the silver sedan fled north toward Atlanta.
Georgia State Patrol officers tracked the car and used a tactical driving maneuver to pin the vehicle next to a guard rail near a ramp to the westbound lanes of Interstate 20. Georgia State Police and officers from Atlanta and Fayetteville were on the scene.
Authorities say the chase lasted about 30 minutes and weaved through downtown Atlanta. The identities of the men who were arrested have not been released.
