LAWRENCEVILLE, Ga. (AP) — Police in metro Atlanta say a man is dead and a woman is being treated for critical injuries after a double shooting at a home inside a gated community.
WSB-TV reports Gwinnett County police arrived at the Villages at Huntcrest community in Lawrenceville late Sunday after a woman called 911 and reported shooting inside the house.
Officer Jeffery Richter says officers found a woman in her 50s with a gunshot wound. She was taken to a local hospital. Police also found a man in his 60s dead.
Police have not identified the shooting victims. They also haven't said whether the shooting may have resulted from a domestic argument.
