ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say four students were robbed at gunpoint in their dorm room at Georgia State University in Atlanta.

A campus crime alert sent to students says the crime happened shortly after 7 p.m. Wednesday in Building C at University Commons.

Police say the suspects knocked on the door and two of the suspects pointed a hand gun in the students' faces before robbing them of an iPad and cellphones. The trio of suspects then left through a stairwell, according to police. No injuries were reported.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that about 2,000 students live in the University Commons complex on Piedmont Avenue.
