BALL GROUND, Ga. (AP) - Police in the north Georgia town of Ball Ground have discovered the burned remains of a scarecrow portraying Uncle Si Robertson from TV's "Duck Dynasty."

The scarecrow, which featured the popular character from the reality show wearing camouflage and sitting on a hay bale with his legs crossed, went missing last week.

The Cherokee Tribune reports (http://bit.ly/H7K75y) that a juvenile has been apprehended and faces charges in juvenile court after police found the remains of the straw-stuffed character. Ball Ground Police Chief Bryon Reeves said investigators received some tips from residents that helped crack the case. At one point, someone reported spotted Uncle Si sitting on a front porch.

Allison Martin, one of the mothers of local fourth-graders who created the scarecrow, said the moms plan to rebuild it.
