ATLANTA (AP) - Authorities say a woman has died after a tree toppled onto her house in Atlanta, pinning her inside.
Atlanta Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Chris Wessels says the large oak tree crashed into her home on the city's northwest side before dawn on Monday.
Wessels tells WSB-TV (http://bit.ly/1FZDTM3) that crews tried to get inside the house on Oakcliff Road but the structure was unstable. A short time later, they were able to determine that she had died.
The woman's name was not immediately released.
