STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. (AP) - A former Atlanta-area teacher has been charged with child molestation for texting pornographic images of himself to a student.

Local news media reported Thursday that 25-year-old Quentin Wright was charged after his May arrest for allowing middle school students to have sex in a storage unit in his classroom. Wright was a math teacher and basketball coach at The Champion School in Stone Mountain.

Wright was charged with four misdemeanor counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Spokeswoman Terrie Clark for DeKalb County Solicitor-General Sherry Boston says Wright's arraignment on those charges was put off, while investigators examined his phone. Clark says investigators found pornographic images of him that were sent to one student.

Wright is being held at the DeKalb County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
