PERRY, FL. (WTXL) - Georgia-Pacific and the Foley Cellulose Mill donated $4,900 towards education efforts in Taylor County.
The initiative included $1,000 to the Taylor County Education Foundation and $1,000 towards the Science, Technology, Engineering and Math program at Taylor County High School. A general support donation of $3,900 was also given to the District School Board.
The funds will be used to provide materials, supplies and additional resources to teachers throughout the district.
