Democrat Stacey Abrams is considering a run to try and become the president of the United States in 2020.
In a tweet Monday, Abrams said, "2020 is definitely on the table”.
In #LeadFromTheOutside, I explore how to be intentional about plans, but flexible enough to adapt. 20 years ago, I never thought I’d be ready to run for POTUS before 2028. But life comes at you fast - as I shared in Q&A w @Yamiche at @sxsw. Now 2020 is definitely on the table...

Back in November 2018, Abrams fell short against now Georgia Governor Brian Kemp in the Georgia governor's race.
If she does become a presidential nominee, she adds to the long list of Democratic candidates including Senators Bernie Sanders and Kamala Harris.
Abrams delivered the Democrats' official rebuttal to President Donald Trump's State of the Union speech earlier this year.
